COVID-19

COVID-19 and CHOICES

During the unusual circumstances of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak it was necessary to move our counselling sessions either online via video or telephone call.

We continue to offer online sessions and will remain part of our service delivery for the foreseeable future.

We are able to offer a limited number of in person sessions to clients who have been unable to access sessions online.

The current situation regarding the Omicron strain of the virus suggests that we may need to suspend face-to-face sessions at some time in the future. Clients will be notified by their counsellors if this is the case.

Waiting for treatment

It will take time to bring our service back to the level it was at before the pandemic. This means that the waiting time has increased, and clients will need to wait longer for counselling than we would like. We realise that it may be very frustrating and disappointing not knowing how long you may have to wait for one-to-one counselling. We are doing everything we can to try and reduce this waiting time and thank you for your patience.

Contacting the office: please either email admin@choicescounselling.co.uk or call the office answerphone on 01223 358149. Messages left on the answerphone are checked daily.

Please remember to speak clearly and slowly as we are accessing these calls remotely and sometimes the sound quality is not great!

All post sent to the office is collected and sorted weekly.

Thank you for your continued understanding.

Victoria Stevenson Head of Services CHOICES.
