Our Trustees

Vince Hesketh joined the Board in 2019. He was a social worker in Cambridge and then trained as a family therapist 30 years ago. He worked in the child sexual abuse treatment team for children’s mental health services and  now works at the  Croft Children and Family Unit in Fulbourn. He is a family therapy trainer and taught at the Tavistock Centre for 20 years.

Alison Hunte joined the board of trustees in 2019. She is a BACP registered therapist presently working in private practice and in a university counselling service. In addition she runs mental health awareness training and is workshop leader.’

Heather Styles joined the board of trustees in 2015. She is a UKCP registered psychotherapist. Heather is presently self-employed, working as a supervisor and therapist. Additionally she provides training within the NHS and the voluntary sector.

Sally Urquhart joined the Board in December 2018.  She is a UKCP accredited psychotherapist with a special interest in Dissociative Disorders, Dissociative Identity Disorder and Childhood Sexual Abuse in both her work at Choices and in her private work over the last 8 years.  Sally has a business background, working in strategic marketing and corporate fundraising across the private, public and voluntary sectors for over 15 years. She currently discharges directorial and company secretary roles in 2 micro limited companies with responsibilities for financial and operational matters

Dr Jorge Zimbron joined the Board of trustees in December 2018. He is a consultant psychiatrist at Springbank Ward, Fulbourn Hospital, Cambridge: a specialist unit looking after women with complex presentations and a diagnosis of personality disorder (PD). He has an interest in reducing restrictive practices and improving the environment of inpatient settings, to improve outcomes for patients. His medical training and foundation years were spent in London at Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ School of Medicine and the Maudsley. He trained as a general adult and rehabilitation psychiatrist at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, during which he carried out an MPhil in Psychiatric Research at the University of Cambridge.
